Stéfanie is passionate about her love for dance. She danced at International Dance Academy from the age of 3 to the age of 18. She took, and taught, a variety of classes including ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, and tap. She then left to pursue her education in Ottawa and joined the University of Ottawa Dance Team. Afterwards, she moved to Vancouver to complete her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology. During her time out West, she took many West Coast Swing classes. She then moved back to Thunder Bay for work and started taking adult ballet classes at IDA. Since her return, she has taught a few different classes, including kinderdance and musical theater. In her spare time, Stéfanie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters (who also dance at IDA), skiing, and reading. She currently lives in Shuniah and is a vice principal at a local elementary school.
