Montana was born and raised in Thunder Bay and is studying Mathematics at Lakehead University. She started dancing at the age of three and has extensive studies in jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, point, character, cabaret, musical theatre and modern dancing.

She has been competing since the age of nine and has achieved group, solo and duet awards in competitions throughout North America which includes winning in Dance America National Finals in Chicago in 2013. She has completed multiple levels of ADAPT jazz and tap exams along with her studies in ballet exams.

Montana has performed in Moscow Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty, Dancing for a Cure for Alzheimer’s and Breast Cancer, and in the local productions of the Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan. She continues to learn fresh new styles of dance through multiple workshops and transforms her knowledge of dancing and choreography with the Lakehead Dance Team. Montana is eager to show her love for dance not just through performing but through her teaching.
