Instructor, Choreographer

Montana was born and raised in Thunder Bay and started her love of dance at the age of three.

She has studied at Lakehead University completing degrees in Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Bachelor of General Sciences.

Montana has extensive studies in various forms of dance such as, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, pointe, character, cabaret, musical theatre, and modern dancing. She has completed multiple levels of ADAPT jazz, tap, and ballet exams and is a fully certified Instructor in ADAPT jazz and tap exams and as well as in Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT). Montana started competing since at the age of nine and has won group, duet, and solo awards in North American competitions, including Dance America National Finals in Chicago in 2013. She started teaching dance at the age of 17 and has taught and choreographed for students in Canada and the United States.

Montana is a member of Actors Access working with AMP Talent Group in Toronto for singing, dancing, performing voiceovers, video, acting and modeling.

Montana has performed in many productions, including Moscow Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty, Dancing for a Cure for Alzheimer’s, Breast Cancer, as well as local productions of the Wizard of Oz and Peter
Pan. Throughout her time at Lakehead University, she has also performed, danced, and choreographed for the Lakehead University Dance Team. 

Montana continues to learn fresh new styles of dance through multiple workshops that help transform and deepen her knowledge of dancing and choreography. Montana is eager to share her love of dance, not just through performing but through her teaching and students.
